重复是汉语语篇衔接的一种重要手段，在汉语口语语篇中是很常见的。在同声传译中，由于译员的翻译必须与发言人的讲话几乎同步进行，如果译员使汉语中的重复在译语中一一再现出来，很可能导致时间紧迫，造成信息遗漏，而且会使译语显得不够简洁，不能达到优化交际的效果。本文对同传译员口译笔录进行了实证研究，从语篇认知的角度分析汉英同传译员对于汉语中不同类型重复的处理方法对于同传交际效果的影响。同时指出：如果译员能够在保证译语语法和意思正确的同时，恰当地将汉语中的重复转化为英语中的若干衔接手段，则会使译语更加简洁，取得优化交际的效果。

As an important means of cohesion, reiteration is used frequently in Chinese oral texts. Since the interpreter has to translate almost simultaneously with the speaker, if he renders the reiterations one by one in the target language, he may have not enough time to deliver all the information to the audience. Moreover, he may not achieve optimal communication effect be-cause the interpretation is not succinct enough. This paper com-pares the transcripts of four interpreters and analyzes the effect of different handling methods of reiteration on the communication effect of C-E simultaneous interpretation from the perspective of text recognition. It points out that if the interpreter can shift the reiterations in Chinese into various cohesive ties in English while ensuring the correctness of grammar and meaning, the interpreta-tion will be more succinct and the communication effect will be optimized.
