Pan Wei is one of the distinctive poetic symbols in the world of Jiangnan culture .As the externalizations of the gene elements in Pan Wei’s soul, the geographic images of Jiangnan culture , such as "Jiangnan rain","maids","Taihu Lake","magnificent dragons", and so on, are not only the poetic passwords of Jiangnan culture deciphered by Pan Wei , but also readers’ passwords to decipher Pan Wei ’s soul in return.His poetic ambition is well reflected in his claiming to be "a guardian to Chinese poetic soul", and his personal expectation for the role of "Chinese language emperor".
