The energy consumption of air conditioning system for electronic clean room was discussed, the energy consumption characteristic was analysised, found that the air distribution effected energy consumption obviously, The advantages and disadvantages of air distribution styles were compared in depth. Combined with the design of a class 1K electronic clean room, the application method and process of CFD was introduced detailedly, the numerical results was analysised and discussed from different angles, the application style, analysis angle and optimization method was useful to energy saving design of electronic clean room in future. The application examples showed that CFD had a significant effect on validating and optimizing scheme of air distribution for electronic clean room, to optimize air distribution could reduce energy intensity, CFD could be used as a supplementary method of energy saving design of electronic clean room.
