沙滩脚矿田位于长江中下游成矿带铜陵矿集区的东部，是该矿集区具有重要成矿潜力的矿田。沙滩脚矿田共有13个矿床（点），其中特大型矿床1处（姚家岭），其余为小型矿床及矿点（沙滩脚、朱家冲、戴腰山、凤形山、小工山等），矿床类型主要为中低温热液型、矽卡岩型矿床，矿化组合以Zn-Au-Cu多金属元素为主。区内沙滩脚岩体及姚家岭岩体、二叠系及石炭系碳酸盐岩分别为重要的成矿岩体和赋矿地层。沙滩脚矿田的成矿作用是铜陵矿集区燕山期成矿作用的有机组成部分。
사탄각광전위우장강중하유성광대동릉광집구적동부，시해광집구구유중요성광잠력적광전。사탄각광전공유13개광상（점），기중특대형광상1처（요가령），기여위소형광상급광점（사탄각、주가충、대요산、봉형산、소공산등），광상류형주요위중저온열액형、석잡암형광상，광화조합이Zn-Au-Cu다금속원소위주。구내사탄각암체급요가령암체、이첩계급석탄계탄산염암분별위중요적성광암체화부광지층。사탄각광전적성광작용시동릉광집구연산기성광작용적유궤조성부분。
The Shatanjiao polymetallic ore field ,located in the eastern of Tongling uplift district in the Middle-Lower Yangtze River Valley metallogenic belt ,is a significant potential mineralization area . There are thirteen deposits in the area ,including a super-large deposit called Yaojialing ,and some other small deposits called Shatanjiao ,Zhujiachong ,Daiyaoshan ,Fengxingshan ,Xiaogongshan and so on .The major types of the deposit are medium-low hydrothermal deposits and skarn type deposits . Mineralization assemblages are mainly composed of zinc-gold-copper polymetallic elements .Shatanjiao and Yaojialing intrusive rocks are both important related rocks for mineralization ,and the dominant ore-forming related formations are Carbonic-Permian carbonatite rocks .The metallogenetic process of Shatanjiao ore field is a part of Yanshannian mineralization in Tongling ore district .
