Papermaking wastewater is a kind of complicated refractory organic wastewater. The concentration of suspended substance, COD and BOD5 are high in the wastewater. To use single technique to treat the wastewater is very difficult to gain satisfactory results. In this paper, research status of integrated treatment technologies for papermaking wastewater was introduced, and the research direction in the future was suggested.
