Objective To discuss the clinical effects of a new pattern of integrated emergency nursing for severe craniocerebral injury patients in pre-hospital care. Methods Ninety-six severe craniocerebral injury patients in pre-hospital care from June 2011 to February 2013 were chosen as observation group, receiving a designed new-pattern of integrated emergency nursing, and 104 cases in pre-hospital care from January 2010 to May 2011 were chosen as control group, receiving traditional pattern of integrated emergency nursing. Quality of nursing, patient ’ satisfaction with nursing and accident rate in transfer were compared between two groups. Results With the new pattern, pre-hospital emergency response time and care time in emergency department of observation group were shorter than those of control group. The cure rate increased while mortality of patients and accident rate in transfer declined. The difference between two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion With new integrated emergency nursing, first-aid time is shortened for severe craniocerebral injury patients in pre-hospital care.
