The function of the trussed pipe racks was described as well as its relationship with the pipeline, the interaction of each pipelines and the value selection of the restrain coefficients, the calculation hypothesis of the trussed pipe racks. The pipe racks should be designed from"technologically advanced, economical, safe and reliable, beautiful and practical" principle. Moreover, during design of the pipeline, we should discuss with the technology designer and the pipeline designer to make the layout, height and span reasonable.
