MOOCs---大规模开放网络课程是远程教育近年来出现的新型课程模式。该课程模式具有开放、大规模、在线和免费的特点，它给高等学校特别是开放大学带来了极大震撼。本文分析了MOOCs的形成发展与优势，及其对高等学校和开放大学的影响，并依据开放大学的历史使命，提出了开放大学应对MOOCs挑战的措施。

MOOCs---대규모개방망락과정시원정교육근년래출현적신형과정모식。해과정모식구유개방、대규모、재선화면비적특점，타급고등학교특별시개방대학대래료겁대진감。본문분석료MOOCs적형성발전여우세，급기대고등학교화개방대학적영향，병의거개방대학적역사사명，제출료개방대학응대MOOCs도전적조시。
The massive open online courses (MOOCs) are new curriculum models that appear recently in distance education. MOOCs have lots of features, such as openness, massiveness, online, and free of charge. It's both a challenge and opportunity for institu-tions of higher education, especially for Open University. This paper explores its development, advantage and influence on institutions of higher education and Open University. In the meanwhile, this paper puts forward some countermeasures to meet the challenges based on the historical mission of Open University.
