为了增大传统单边带光载无线通信(RoF)系统的动态范围,从理论上对单边带RoF系统的交调失真进行了分析,提出了一种通过双电极马赫曾德调制器(DE-MZM)消除三阶交调分量来抑制光单边带(OSSB) RoF系统非线性的方案.仿真结果表明,相较传统的单边带RoF系统,该方案的动态范围可有效提升25 dB,达到127.854 dB·Hz2/3,具有较大的实用价值.

In order to enhance the dynamic range of the traditional single sideband (SSB) radio-over-fiber (RoF) system, this paper analyzes the inter-modulation distortion of the SSB-RoF system in theory, and proposes a scheme of suppressing the non-linearity of the SSB-RoF system by eliminating the 3rd-order inter-modulation (IM) component using the dual electrode Mach Ceng De modulator (DE-MZM). Simulation results illustrate that the dynamic range of this scheme can be increased effectively by 25dB, up to 127.854 dB·Hz2/3, compared with the traditional SSB-RoF system, thus possessing a greater utility.
