Objective:Conduct newborn hearing screening, by the results of newborn hearing screening;understand the incidence of congenital hearing loss and possible risk factors of it. Methods:3 days after newborn birth using distortion product otoacoustic emission (DPOAE) for screening. Did not pass screening and children with risk factors for hearing impairment were referral to a health center in Tianjin women and children after 42 days, given DPOAE and rapid auditory brainstem response (AABR) for rescreening and have track interrupted. Results:When first screening, normal children did not pass rate for 11.08%, high-risk children was 15.84%. Conclusion:In other newborns congenital disorders, with congenital hearing impairment have the highest incidence, so newborn hearing screening is necessary to carry out, by screening for early detection of congenital hearing impaired children, early intervention, which will help infant development of speech-language psychological and behavioral health.
