药材质量是中药现代化最关键的因素，而药材道地性研究又是中药材质量研究的关键之一。针对鱼腥草药材资源优势，概述了道地药材的内涵、鱼腥草药材道地性的品种、产地、疗效、活性成分、栽培及产地加工等形成因素，为鱼腥草药材道地性评价提供评价策略。

One of the most important factors for modernization of Chinese medicines is the quality of traditional Chinese medicines, and the key research for it is the study on its genuineness. In this article, the connotation of genuine Chinese medicines, and formation factors for genuineness of Houttuynia cordata Thunb, such as varieties, origin, curative effect, chemical composition, cultivation and origin processing, were reviewed, which provided a evaluation strategies for the gen-uineness evaluation of Houttuynia cordata Thunb.
