This paper briefly described the basic characteristics of programmable controller (PLC) and development situation, introduces the programming language and its function characteristics of PLC sequence function diagram, ladder diagram, functional block diagram and instruction list, expounds the programming rules and matters needing attention of PLC ladder diagram and instruction list in programming language, etc. On top of the programming language, programming method and the matters needing attention of PLC program has great significance for quick starting to apply PLC programming.
