Heat exchangers with diaphragm seal and screw lock ring heat exchangers were compared. Structure and seal principle of heat exchangers with diaphragm seal were introduced. The heat exchanger sealing structure is similar to metal flat seal and belongs to compulsory seal. The sealing is achieved by sealing disk, gland and large bolts.
