为了解决二阶微分方程的数值模拟难以在交通信号控制机中实现的问题,以全速度差( FVD)模型为基础,提出低阶的全速度差简化( FVDS)模型,先用数值模拟分析方法将全速度差简化模型与改进Newell模型相比,结果表明相比于现有的改进Newell模型,全速度差简化模型的稳定性更高。为进一步验证模型的实用性,利用全速度差简化模型以及改进 Newell模型预测交叉路口跟驰行为中跟驰车辆的速度值,并与交叉路口实测跟驰行为中跟驰车辆的速度值进行比较。结果表明,全速度差简化模型对跟驰车辆速度的预测值与实际值的残差比改进 Newell模型对跟驰车辆速度的预测值与实际值的残差更小,全速度差简化模型比改进Newell模型更有效。

In order to solve the problem that numerical simulation of second order differential equation is difficult to achieve in the intersection road traffic signal controller , this paper will present a lower order simplified full velocity difference model.Firstly, using numerical simulation analysis method to compare simplified full velocity difference model with improved Newell model , we obtain results that show , compared with the existing improved Newell mod-el, simplified full velocity difference model is more stable than the improved Newell model .To further validate the usefulness of the model , we utilize simplified full velocity difference model and improved Newell model to predict the velocity of the car in the car following behavior which is at the intersection , and compare it with that measured at the intersection .The results and their analysis showed preliminarily that simplified full velocity difference model ’ s residuals of the predicted value and the measured value are smaller than the improved Newell model ’ s residuals of the predicted value and the measured values , simplified full velocity difference model is thus more effective than the improved Newell model .
