Electrical equipment within offshore wind turbines demands higher control of indoor ambient air humidity, there-fore, it is extremely important to implement secure water-sealing measures at location between the transition section of the wind turbine fan tower buried in the pile capping and the pile capping.. The paper presents the technical performance,work-ing procedures,technical measures and health and safety protection measures of the new sealing materials used in the founda-tions for the near-shore wind farm at East China Sea Bridge. The performance of the new sealing materials used proved that they are capable of meeting the design operational requirements.
