In order to improve the utilization efficiency of recycling abandoned drilling fluid and offshore drilling cuttings , and reduce the cost of delivering the drilling cuttings , a drilling cuttings treatment and delivery system was proposed to carry out the sol-id-liquid separation of the abandoned drilling fluid on the rig , recycling the liquid part and processing the solid part onshore by the pipeline transportation .It is a great practical significance to improve the economic efficiency and protect the marine environment .
