The middle wall is the key of the multi-arch tunnel structure stability, and the most important structure of multi-arch tunnel. It is very important for the stability of the surrounding rock. Multi-arch tunnel middle wall construction, especially the middle wall top backfilling is an important link in the whole process of the middle wall construction, directly affecting the safety the stress of the tunnel. The backfilling quality is easily neglected in actual construction. This paper introduces the middle wall top backfilling methods and control points, to provide the reference for similar projects.
