Lost circulation is often happened in the stratum of Xujiahe Fm in Yuanba Block , which greatly increa-ses the drilling risk , and affects the construction schedule seriously .The causes of leakage and difficulties of plug-ging in the stratum of Xujiahe Fm were analyzed .The plugging mechanism and performance advantage of Neotoy superstrong lost circulation additive were introduced , and the practice of successful plugging by Neotoy bearing pressure plugging technology in the stratum of Xujiahe Fm in Yuanba Block was analyzed in-detail.The field appli-cation showed that the Neotoy bearing pressure plugging technology was applicable to Xujiahe Fm .In the same de-gree of leakage , the construction time of Neotoy plugging was only 1/10 than that of normal plugging , and the con-sumption of plugging materials was only 1/19.The success rate of initial plugging was 100 percents, and the plug-ging effect was notable .It provides powerful reference for the plugging operation of similar stratum .
