In this paper, the feasibility of rapid detection was discussed with gravimetric method, the solvation energy of ammonia gas was calculated by quantum chemistry, and compared with ethylene. The results showed that the gravimetric method is not feasible in the rapid detection of nitrogen content of ammonium salt.
