云南南亚热带生态气候区位于北纬24o线以南及金沙江河谷低海拔地区，地理位置特殊，地形地貌复杂，立体农业生态气候显著，光、温、水、热资源丰富但分布不均。全区海拔1500 m以下、年平均温度16℃以上、无霜期在8个月以上的广大地区均可种植木薯。本文根据该区复杂的生态环境、自然条件和种植习惯，提出了“三高四耐和一无”的木薯育种目标。“三高”就是高产、高收获指数和高淀粉含量，“四耐”就是耐旱耐寒、耐酸耐阴湿，“一无”就是无重大疫病。

The south subtropical climate zones on ecological characteristics in Yunnan is located in the south of latitude 24oline and the Jinsha River Valley at low altitude, whose special geographical position and topography is complex, and three-dimensional agro-ecological climate significantly, light, temperature, water and heat resources are abundant but unevenly distributed. An altitude of 1 500 meters below, the annual average temperature is above 16℃ and the frost-free period of 8 months or more Manihot esculenta crantz can be planted in the vast area. In this paper, according to the complex ecological environment, natural condition and cultivation habit, we will propose a breeding goal of "three-high four-resistant and a-non"on Manihot esculenta crantz."Three high"is high-yield, high harvest index and high starch content,"Four-resistant"is a drought hardy, acid-resistant wet,"nothing"is no major epidemics.
