文章设计了一种新型高双折射PCF(光子晶体光纤),并对其双折射、色散、非线性、约束损耗以及模场等特性进行了数值分析。数值模拟结果表明:优化光纤结构参数后的 PCF 在1.55μm 波长处的双折射高达2.36×10-2,负色散值高达-7740 ps/(km·nm),模场面积高达2.17μm2,非线性系数为56 km-1·W-1,基模约束损耗为0.10 dB/km,其色散斜率在-21.9~23.5 ps/(km·nm2)范围内波动。这种光纤将会在光纤激光器、光纤放大器、光滤波器和传感系统中具有广泛的应用。

In this paper,a novel high birefringence Photonic Crystal Fiber (PCF)is proposed and its birefringence,dispersion, nonlinearity,confinement loss and mode field numerically analyzed.The study shows that when its structural parameters are optimized,its birefringence value is 2.36×10-2 ,negative dispersion value -7 740 ps/(km·nm),and the nonlinear coeffi-cient is 56 km-1 ·W-1 ,the corresponding area of mode field 2.17μm2 ,and the confinement loss in the fundamental mode is only 0.10 dB/km at wavelength of 1.55 μm,while its dispersion slope fluctuates between -21.9~-23.5 ps/(km·nm2 ) over the C band.This type of fiber will be widely applied in fiber lasers,fiber amplifiers and optical filters and sensors in the future.
