在我国英语改革大背景下，EGP教师向ESP教师转型已成为必然。通过对高职英语教学现状的考查和思考，分析转型所面临的困难，提出EGP教师向ESP教师转型的策略，指出可通过确定转型方向、自我学习与提升、与专业教师合作的方式来完成转型。

In the background of China's reform of English, the transformation of EGP teacher to ESP teacher is inevitable. Through investigation and thinking of the English teaching in higher vocational college, analyzes the difficulties faced by the teachers, proposes the strategy of the transformation of EGP teacher to ESP teacher, points out that by determining the transformation direction, self learning and upgrading, cooperate with professional teachers to accomplish the transformation.
