随着时代的发展进步，社会对高校音乐教学提出了更高的要求，因此高校音乐艺术专业教学过程中，为适应社会发展的需要，必须加强人文素质教育，培养出合格的音乐艺术专门人才。最基本的策略包括：更新观念，提高认识，明确人文素质教育目标；把人文素质教育内容渗透到音乐教学过程；借助艺术审美观以陶冶学生情操；加强实践活动，让学生在专业学习中体验和贯穿人文精神。
