An undersea ranging system was designed,which uses DSP chip TMS320 F2812 as the control core and MEMS hydrophone as the receiver .The system has such advantages as small size and low cost .It is mainly consisted of DSP hardware,emitting module and receiving module .The ranging system was tested in a reservoir,and the results showed that the measured distance was approximate to the actual distance .The causes of the error were analyzed,which verified the feasibility of the scheme .
