以NaCl-NaF为熔盐介质,采用金属钛粉为原料,在熔盐介质中将鳞片石墨表面包覆1层碳化钛层,石墨表面由疏水性变为亲水性.实验探讨了4种不同钛/石墨的比例和4个不同温度下对石墨改性的影响.结果表明,原料配比对碳化钛的形貌影响不显著,碳化钛以小颗粒的形态在石墨表面生长.实验温度对碳化钛层的形貌有显著影响,温度升高有利于碳化钛的晶体生长,颗粒尺寸为1~3μm.用液滴法测量石墨处理前后与水之间的接触角,其接触角变化证明改性后石墨的润湿性有明显提高.热分析实验结果显示石墨表面生成的碳化钛层优先氧化,起到了抗氧化的作用.

Titanium carbide coating layer was synthesized on the surface of flaky graphite by reacting graphite with Ti powder in a NaCl-NaF binary salt at firing different temperatures for 3 h,and the surface of graphite changed from hydrophobic to hydrophilic.The effects of raw material ratio and firing temperature on the surface modification of graphite powders were studied.The mass ratio of raw materials between Ti and salt was not a significant influence of the morphology of the titanium carbide layer,and small particles grew on the surface of graphite.The firing temperature had a significant effect on the morphology of the titanium carbide layer,and higher temperature conduced to crystal growth and particles size of 1-3μm.The wettability angle was measured by the tableting method,and the wettability of modified graphite had greatly improved.The surface of graphite was evenly coated by titanium carbide particles,and the titanium carbide coating layer improved the oxidation resistance of the graphite material.
