With the progress of the modern society, more and more emphasis is laid on diversified and integrated talents, while employees are required to have more specialized knowledge and professional skills, so how to train talents with both professional knowledge and skills and integrated ability has been gradually attracting the attention of education and teaching researchers who are carrying out deep exploration on this issue. The course of ma-chine electrical control and PLC application is a highly practical and professional core course. This paper explores from the reform background and measures of this course, aiming to improve stu-dents' hands-on ability, as well as engineering design and inno-vative ability, and ultimately cultivate professional talents with both integrated ability and vocational skills.
