Using the personnel training goal of materials physics specialty in engineering colleges as a starting point, and combined with the characteristics of the specialty, the reform of the course system for the materials physics specialty was discussed from the aspects of the core specialty courses, basic specialty courses, spe-cialty-oriented courses, experiment and practical training.
