Intercultural competence (IC) is a vital skill for learners who are learning a foreign language, even some scholars called it ‘the fifth skill’. But most of the tutors in university have some problem in carrying out the teaching of intercultural education. This essay tries to explore some of the problems of the education through the English teaching of the postgraduates in China Three Gorges University. Also this essay tries to explore some meaning of the teaching of the intercultural education.
