Human epidermal growth factor receptor 3 (HER3) is a type Ⅰ transmembrane tyrosine kinase receptor.HER3 gene expression is up-regulated in a variety of tumors.This article briefly reviews the structural characteristics of HER3,the relationship between HER3 and tumorigenesis,and anti-tumor effect of antibody against HER3.
