近几年，吉林省延边州坚持工业化、城镇化、农业现代化协调互动，中小城市和小城镇统筹推动，延龙图一体化率先带动，区域有序联动，有步骤、分梯次地推进城镇化建设，而且创新发展专业农场进一步加快城镇化发展进程。但在推进新型城镇化过程中存在一定问题。

근궤년，길림성연변주견지공업화、성진화、농업현대화협조호동，중소성시화소성진통주추동，연룡도일체화솔선대동，구역유서련동，유보취、분제차지추진성진화건설，이차창신발전전업농장진일보가쾌성진화발전진정。단재추진신형성진화과정중존재일정문제。
