研究了钛酸酯偶联剂对可膨胀石墨(EG)填充聚丙烯(PP)/热塑性聚氨酯(TPU)复合材料性能的影响。通过差示扫描量热(DSC)、热重分析(DTA)、锥形量热仪(CONE)和扫描电镜(SEM)表征方法对 PP/PUT/EG复合体系的结晶行为、燃烧与力学性能进行了研究。结果表明,EG 是一种有效的阻燃剂,能显著提高材料的阻燃性能。未改性的 EG 对 PP/TPU 基体有促进成核结晶作用;而偶联剂的添加削弱 EG 粒子对基体的这种作用。偶联剂的加入可以改善 PP/PUT/EG复合材料的力学性能,当加入20 phr 的 EG时,复合材料的拉伸强度和断裂伸长率分别由改性前的5.3 MPa和17.6%提高到经改性后的5.6 MPa 和18.3%。

In this work,expandable graphite (EG),as a flame retardant,was filled into polypropylene/thermo-plastic polyurethane (PP/TPU)composites.The influences of surface treatment on crystallization behavior, flammability and mechanical properties of PP/TPU with intumescent EG were studied by using DSC,CCT and SEM.The results showed that EG was an effective flame retardant,and titanate coupling agent could effective-ly improve the dispersion of EG particles in the PP/TPU composites;CCT data showed that expandable graph-ite after modification could reduce the heat release rate (HRR),total heat release (THR)and showed a good flame retardancy.The results from the mechanical property tests showed that PP/TPU/EG with surface treat-ment was greatly improved compared with unmodified ones.As for 20 phr MEG was added into PP/TPU,ten-sile strength and elongation at break were increased from 5.3 MPa and 17.6% to 5.6 MPa and 18.3% compared to untreated EG,respectively.Untreated EG promoted the nucleation on PP/TPU matrix.However,surface modifier could weak the effect of EG on PP/TPU composites.
