提出了一种带钢铠的低压电力电缆故障点精确定位新方法,该方法利用电缆钢铠的绕制特点,在故障电缆芯线与钢铠之间施加高压脉冲并产生闪络放电,通过检测和比较故障电缆周围及故障点前后的合成三维瞬变磁场信号变化,来判断电缆故障点的精确位置。对流过钢铠的闪络放电电流产生的磁场进行了理论分析和仿真计算,现场试验结果验证了该方法的可行性和有效性。基于该方法原理,研制了样机,并被应用于实际电缆故障点定位。该方法是一种非接触式的电缆故障点定位方法,它不仅可用于直埋敷设式电缆,而且也可用于管道或地沟敷设式电缆。

This paper presents an accurate fault location method for low voltage (LV) power cable with steel armor.The proposed method uses the characteristics of the cable steel armor winding,applies the high-voltage pulse between the fault cable wire and steel armor to produce flashover discharge and detects the three-dimensional transient magnetic field signal around the cable.Compared with the synthetic magnetic signal generated by the discharge current in the cable wire and the steel armor before and after the point of failure,the method is able to determine the exact location of the cable fault point.This paper analyzes and calculates the magnetic field generated by the discharge current flowing through the steel armor flashover. The experiment results have verified the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method.Based on the principle of this method,a prototype was developed and applied to the actual locating of the cable fault.The proposed method is a non-contact cable fault locating method that can be used not only for direct-buried cable laying but also for cable laying as pipe laying or trench laying.
