With the continuous development of the foreign lan-guage teaching reform, the ability and quality of college English teachers also need to be improved accordingly. This article dis-cussed how the English teachers meet the needs of innovative talents under the modern teaching goals from three aspects, in-cluding changing educational concepts, improving the quality of teachers and reforming teaching methods.
