面瘫是临床常见病、多发病，近年来其发病率有增高趋势，引起广泛关注。针灸在治疗面瘫方面颇具特色与优势。本研究对面瘫的分类、治疗依据以及针灸治疗面瘫常用的局部选穴、临近选穴和远端选穴进行整理和综述，并尝试探讨其未来可能的研究和发展方向。

Facial paralysis is a commonly -seen and frequently-occurring disease , and its incidence has in-creased in recent years , which has attracted vast attention .Acupuncture and moxibustion have characteristic and advantage in the treatment of facial paralysis .This article reviews the classification ,the principles of treat-ment about facial paralysis and the common acupoints in the treatment of facial paralysis , such as local acu-points ,nearby acupoints and distant acupoints .We also try to explore the possible direction of research and de-velopment in the future .
