云南省文山州是名贵药材三七的主产地，海拔高程是文山州成为三七栽培主产地和原产地的主导因素；基于SRTM DEM数据，根据文山三七种植的适宜区划和文山三七GAP基地区划，使用ArcGIS分别提取出各分区坡度≤25°的数据，计算了各分区面积和绘制了分布图，可为三七栽培区域化布局和规模化发展提供科学的依据。

Panax Notoginseng, a famous Chinese traditional medicine, mainly cultivated in Wenshan, Yunnan Province, eleva-tion is the dominant factor which makes Wenshan become the major and original production area of Panax Notoginseng. Based on SRTM DEM, and according to the suitability cultivation zoning and GAP area zoning of Wenshan Sanqi respectively, ArcGIS was used to extract the data of every zone with slope≤25° , the area of every zone was calculated and the distribution maps were drawn, which could provide scientific bases for the regional cultivation and scale development of Wenshan Sanqi.
