仿真研究mushroom形式的EBG结构,所得结果揭示了EBG结构表面波带隙与传输特性曲线阻带不一致的原因是EBG结构在表面波带隙内的某些频段上对表面波有较强的散射,并利用微带贴片天线模型进行验证,表明EBG结构的散射特性会使得贴片天线前后比恶化。通过适当调整EBG结构尺寸,在保证表面波带隙几乎不变的情况下,将较强散射频段移出带隙范围,使得在整个表面波带隙内贴片天线前后比都有较大的改善,同时保证了表面波带隙、传输特性曲线阻带和贴片天线前后比改善频段的一致性。

The simulation results of mushroom EBG structure show that the reason of the inconsistency between the surface wave bandgap and the transmission characteristic curve is that the EBG structure causes the strong scattering of surface wave in some frequency of surface wave bandgap. By using micro-strip patch antenna model, the result shows that the scattering property of EBG structure will make the front-to-rear ratio worse. Finally, by appropriately adjusting the size of the EBG structure in the condition that the surface wave bandgap is almost the same, the frequency band with strong scattering will be removed out of the bandgap, which improves the front-to-rear ratio of patch antenna in the whole surface wave bandgap. At the same time, it ensures the consistency among the surface wave bandgap, the transmission characteristic curve and the frequency band with the improved front-to-rear ratio of the patch antenna.
