作为独立从事培养人才和传承知识的学术共同体，大学本身即为一德性组织。然而，中国今日之大学已蜕化为一商业和官僚机构，权力、地位和金钱代替学术成为机构的核心价值追求，德性的迷失使大学陷入深深的危机之中。究其根源，既有大学与外部政府和社会关系的错位，又有大学内部行政权力与学术权力的失衡，是外在压力挟迫和自我放逐的结果。
作為獨立從事培養人纔和傳承知識的學術共同體，大學本身即為一德性組織。然而，中國今日之大學已蛻化為一商業和官僚機構，權力、地位和金錢代替學術成為機構的覈心價值追求，德性的迷失使大學陷入深深的危機之中。究其根源，既有大學與外部政府和社會關繫的錯位，又有大學內部行政權力與學術權力的失衡，是外在壓力挾迫和自我放逐的結果。

As an independent academic community engaged in training,discovery and inheriting the knowledge,the uni-versity itself is a virtue organization.However,today's universities in China have been degenerated into organizations of business and bureaucracy,and power,status and money have become the core value of pursuit instead of the academic in-stitutions.The university is in deep crisis with the disorientation of the virtue.Investigating its root,both the dislocated relation between university,government and society,and the imbalance of the interior university administrative power and the academic power are a result of the external pressure and the result of self-imposed exile.
