升阳除湿是李东垣治疗内伤脾胃的常用方法。路志正教授推崇此法，并融会贯通，在临床运用中不断总结完善，使此法更加成熟。升阳除湿法是运用于脾虚湿盛的有效方法。但根据湿邪所在部位的不同，又要灵活结合他法，如湿在上焦结合芳香化湿法，湿在中焦结合苦温燥湿法，湿在下焦结合淡渗利湿法，此概括为“三部”法。又根据湿邪致病的性质和寒化、热化、在表、在里的不同，单纯用升阳除湿法不足祛病，往往结合他法联合应用，如升降结合，升补结合，升利结合，升泻结合，升散结合，风药结合等，此概括为“六结合”法。将临床“三部六结合”法与升阳除湿法灵活结合起来，用于脾虚湿盛的治疗，收到非常好的效果，这也充分体现了路志正教授圆机活法的辨证论治思想。

Elevating yang and eliminating damp is the common therapy in the treatment of the inter-nal injury of spleen and stomach by Li Donghuan. Prof. Lu Zhizheng promoted this therapy and perfected and maturated it in his clinical practice. The elevating yang and eliminating damp therapy is effective in the treat-ment of spleen deficiency and excessive damp. But,this therapy should be used flexibly according to the spe-cific localization of pathogenic damp. The resolving damp therapy with fragrant herbs is used for the pathogen-ic damp in the upper Energizer,the removing damp therapy with the herbs of bitter taste and warm in nature is used for that in the middle Energizer. The eliminating damp therapy with tasteless herbs is used for that in the lower Energizer. Additionally,In terms of the nature of disease caused by pathogenic damp,and the trans-formation to cold,heat,exterior or interior,the other therapies should be applied in combination,such as the elevating and descending combined therapy,the elevating and tonifying combined therapy,the elevating and benefiting combined therapy,the elevating and reducing combined therapy,the elevating and dispersing com-bined therapy and the wind herb combined therapy. Those combined therapies achieve the extraordinary good effect on spleen deficiency and excessive damp in light of Prof. Lu Zhizheng′s flexible therapeutic approaches to the flexible treatment based on syndrome differentiation of TCM.
