在缺少灌溉的中国北方地区杂交沙棘种植园,发生年际干旱会导致果实产量减产一半或更多。干旱是导致沙棘叶光合、蒸腾能力下降的主因。当土壤干旱导致沙棘植株受到水分胁迫严重时,根系从土壤吸收水分供叶面蒸腾和光合生产的水分已经很少,光合生产力很低,落果加重,果实增重减缓。适时灌溉使沙棘根系分布层的土壤含水量达到适宜含水量以防止干旱的影响,是保证杂交沙棘园植株健康生长和果实丰产的必要措施。

In the hybrid seabuckthorn plantation without irrigation, the drought will lead to the fruit failure by half or more, the uneven distribution of rainfall during the year is the main reason causing drought which affected seabuckthorn both vegetative growth and fruit growth. Soil drought is the reason to lead to the decrease of photosynthetic and transpiration capacity. Because serious water stress made the roots absorb less water from soil which used for transpiration and photosynthesis,leading to low le-ver photosynthesis productivity. So irrigation is the key measure in order to prevent the drought impac-tion and healthy growth for plants as well as higher fruit yield of seabuckthorn.
