The guide-ways straightness has a significant influence on accuracy and stability of measuring equipment. It was de-tected by experimental platform. Following this experimental study,the reason of measurement error was analyzed,the three guide-ways movement trends were summed up and the measurement errors were calculated. The measurement error was reduced to micron leve by using simple mechanical device to adjust.
