The working principle, equipment configuration and maintenance essentials of the Hoteye system imported from USA are briefly introduced. The application of Hoteye in the high-speed rolling mill has achieved automatic online inspection and intelligent judgment of surface quality of hot rolled wire rod, improved the online control ability for surface quality of products, reduced the rate of unqualified products and increased production efficiency.
