新形势下我国传染病的流行和发病格局发生了巨大变化，表现在传染病发病率总体明显下降，传统传染病发病明显减少，新发传染病时而出现，而部分以前已经基本控制的传染病又发生“回潮”。当前的传染病教学现状却是教学内容及教学手段未能及时与之相适应，脱离了实际需要，造成教学资源浪费，教学效率低下，教学效果欠佳。在目前形势下，我们对传染病学的传统教学理念、教学方法和教学内容进行了必要的改革，取得了较好的教学效果。

In the new era of China, the prevalence and the incidence of infectious diseases have undergone tremendous changes, reflecting in the significantly decreased overal incidence of infectious disease, reduced classic infectious diseases, emergence of newly infectious diseases, and "resurgence" of some infectious diseases which have been control ed previously. The current status of infectious diseases teaching is that teaching contents and methods failed to adapt with the real situation and deviated from the actual needs, resulting in a waste of educational resources and poor teaching efficiency and effect. In this situation, we have reformed the traditional teaching philosophy, teaching content and teaching methods, achieving wonderful teaching results.
