In this article, the hazards of electroplating wastewater were described as well as sources of electroplating wastewater. Moreover, the research of electroplating wastewater treatment in domestic and international was summarized, and the advantages and disadvantages of various methods including the chemical, physical and biological treatment of electroplating wastewater were compared. Finally, the developing foreground of treatment technologies for electroplating wastewater was evaluated.
