Based on the current situation of the rapid development of urban rail transit construction and new situation of the independently innovation of signaling equipment, the paper focuses on the program design, technical characteristics, advantages, development strategy and applications of the CBTC based MTC-I systems having completely independent innovation. The future development of the independent innovations in the signaling technologies on China's urban rail transit are discussed and analyzed.
