马尔尼菲青霉病是由马尔尼菲青霉引起的一种地域性流行的系统性真菌病，易发生于免疫受损个体，尤其是艾滋病患者。近年来随着我国艾滋病发病率的上升，流行区域的马尔尼菲青霉病患者逐渐增多，如不能早期诊断和及时治疗，病死率极高。

Penicilliosis marneffei is an endemic systemic mycoses caused by Penicillium marneffei. It is commonly seen in immune compromised patients especially the HIV infected patients. The number of the penicilliosis patients of the endemic areas in China is increasing since the beginning of the HIV pandemic. It is a serious disease with signiifcant mortality if not diagnosed early and treated appropriately.
