To compensate for the lack of the coverage of public network and the capacity of emergency rescue, water resources department of Inner Mongolia has completed the emergency mobile command platform of water resources relying on the new generation system of satellite communication of the Ministry of Water Resources. The paper introduces the necessity of constructing the emergency mobile command platform of water resources in Inner Mongolia, and describes the network structure of command platform. It raises the suggestion on optimization through practical application to improve the abilities of getting the locale information of emergency incident as the floods and water pollution for water resources department.
