毛泽东作为一代伟人，留给了后人丰富的思想遗产，其中关于新民主主义文化的思想占有重要地位。这一思想内容涉及近代中国新文化的产生、新文化与新政治新经济的关系及其在中国民主革命中的地位，五四运动前后两个不同历史时期中的文化革命的特点和原因，新民主主义文化的过渡性质和主要内容，新民主主义文化的基本特征及其丰富内涵等。这一思想对于在中国民主革命中传承中华民族优秀传统文化，吸收外国先进文化，创造具有时代特点的中华民族新文化，发挥了重要的指导作用，其中许多重要思想观点至今仍有积极的现实意义。

In the legacy of the thoughts left behind by MAO Zedong, the new democratic culture thought occupies an important position. The thought has rich content, which involves the emergence of new culture in modern China, the rela-tionship between new culture and new politics, the relationship between new culture and new economy, its status in the Chinese democratic revolution, the characteristics and the causes of China ’s cultural revolution in two different historical periods around May 4th Movement, the transitional property and the main content of the new democratic culture, three ba-sic characteristics of new democratic culture and its rich connotation, etc. The new democracy culture thought, which is an important part of the new democracy theory, plays an significant directive role in acting as new force of culture in the Chinese democratic revolution, inheriting the excellent Chinese traditional culture, absorbing advanced foreign culture, and creating new culture of the Chinese nation with time feature. Many important ideas among them still have very strong practical significance.
