A certain air preheater of 310 MW unit was seriously clogged after denitration which influenced security and economy of unit operation seriously. On the basis of thorough investigation and argumentation, the online cleaning of air preheater was conducted,and the serious congestion problem in the unit operation was solved, and the preventive measures about air preheater clogging are discussed in this paper.
