提出一种适用于强度调制直接检测(IMDD)光OFDM PON系统的简单、高效的同步算法。该算法使用训练序列作为OFDM符号的前导码,利用训练序列的循环前缀和训练序列之间的相关性,通过滑动窗口的加减预算计算出相关值的最小值从而获得准确的符号同步位置,仿真和实验验证了该算法的有效性。

A simple and novel symbol timing synchronization technology is proposed which is suit for intensi-ty modulation and direct detection (IMDD) optical OFDM PON systems. The algorithm is based on training sequence. With the method of sliding window to calculate the correlation value which is just needed some simple subtraction and addition operation by utilizing the characteristic of this special structure of long train-ing sequence, the receiver can accurately find the optimal synchronization position corresponding to the mini-mum correlation value.The simulation and experiment show that the new algorithm is available for system.
