通过对园艺主干课程教学中的教学内容、教学手段、教学模式和课程考核的探索，提出了专业课程教学改革的新思路：围绕课程内容采用来先进的教学手段和教学模式，培养学生的学习兴趣，提高课堂教学效果；运用综合测评的考核方式，激励和培养学生的科研意识与创新精神，同时，激发教师综合素质的提高。
